In Vivo Efficacy Models
We have a profound expertise in establishing relevant animal models to investigate medical countermeasures. Experimental design, dosing and sampling strategies can be tailored to the virus and objectives of the study and are conducted under appropriate ethical approval and in accordance with the 3Rs principles.
Studies can incorporate endpoints such as viral load or infectious virus titre, disease-related parameters, survival, tissue-specific effects and other relevant biological readouts.
We support preclinical evaluation of vaccine candidates using relevant in vivo models, including efficacy assessment and the evaluation of cross-protection against antigenically distant viruses.
