We are honoured to announce that VirusBank Platform has been awarded a PAD grant by the Novo Nordisk Foundation, a significant milestone for our organisation and a meaningful recognition of the importance of building standardised, high-quality tools to accelerate the development of medical countermeasures for pandemic-threat viral pathogens.
Over the course of this three-year grant, VirusBank Platform will take a decisive step toward becoming an accredited, independent, non-profit European pandemic preparedness platform, while further strengthening and expanding our toolbox for viruses with epidemic and pandemic potential.
